Donkey Kong Jungle Beat

An unusual platformer controlled with the DK Bongos - the player claps and pounds the drums to make Donkey Kong run, jump and attack. It sounds crazy, but the rhythmic controls work surprisingly intuitively and offer a gripping pace. The game rewards chaining banana combos with flashy movement. It came from the team that later created Super Mario Galaxy, and its energy and inventiveness make it one of the freshest experiments on the console.
