Sonic Team was searching for direction in the era of 3D experiments and bet on team play with four squads.

The Sonic of the multiplatform era, in which you control three-member teams and switch between characters on the fly according to their abilities - speed, flight and power. Four teams offer different stories and difficulty across colorful, brisk levels. The return to a focus on speed pleased fans after the experiments of previous installments. Sonic Heroes may have a wobbly camera, but its energetic pace, catchy music and team mechanics make it a beloved stop for the blue hedgehog.
