The game combines first-person shooting, puzzle solving, and careful management of limited ammunition and healing supplies with moments of pure horror tension, where the player flees from practically invulnerable enemies through narrow corridors. The mobile port is natively optimized for newer iPhones and iPads with powerful chips, uses advanced image scaling and touch controls supplemented with virtual joysticks, though the game officially recommends connecting a physical controller for more comfortable and precise play.

Capcom released the port in 2023, several years after the original release on consoles and PC, and it is a paid, full-fledged version without microtransactions or ads, with the entire story and all modes from the console version.
