Buffy the Vampire Slayer

A surprisingly well-made action game based on the cult TV series, today considered one of the best licensed games ever. As Buffy you beat vampires with your fists, stakes and improvised weapons from your surroundings, and the combat system surprised with its depth. The atmosphere of Sunnydale, the humor in the spirit of the source material and the voice acting by parts of the series' cast lend the game authenticity. Fans of Buffy and action games alike appreciated how seriously the creators approached a subject that could easily have ended up as a cheap cash-in.
