Star Fox Adventures

The last game Rare made for Nintendo before departing to Microsoft. This time Fox McCloud leaves the Arwing's cockpit and sets out onto a dinosaur planet in an action adventure heavily inspired by Zelda. Gorgeous graphics, a sprawling world and a staff that serves as a universal tool. Critics faulted it for straying from the series' roots, but as a standalone adventure it offers a good-looking and enjoyable experience. The swan song of the famed British studio on Nintendo hardware.
