Third installment parodying TV shows; the Rabbids take over the household.

Rayman Raving Rabbids: TV Party is the third installment in the series about the crazy Rabbids, and in its European release it carries a different title than the American version, Rayman Raving Rabbids 3. The game abandons the purely arena-based format of the previous installments and frames the individual minigames as parodies of TV shows, commercials, and music programs that the Rabbids enjoy, while shamelessly taking over a human household and all its furnishings in the process.

The game newly adds board riding as a connecting element between the individual minigames – the player rides through a virtual house on it, unlocking further rooms and TV channels with minigames – and expands customization options by letting the player gradually build and furnish their own living room as a home base between rounds. The minigames themselves continue to rely on the Wii Remote and Nunchuk's motion controls and parody everything from reality shows to talk shows to music videos, while the series' typical absurd humor, with exaggerated grimaces, shrieks, and utterly senseless Rabbids behavior, remains unchanged and stays the main draw of the whole game, even for players already familiar with the individual minigames from previous installments. Compared to the second installment, the structure is more open, and the player themselves chooses which shows and minigames to play and in what order, instead of the fixed linear progression from earlier games in the series.

Why play it: TV Party will appeal to players who enjoyed the previous Rabbids installments on Wii and want a looser structure with their own TV living-room base to explore between rounds, as well as casual players looking for short, visually clear motion-controlled minigames for evenings together with family or friends.
