Burnout Legends – In-game
In-game

Arcade mayhem where speed is everything and spectacular crashes are half the fun.

The crunch of metal, flying glass, and a slow-motion shot of a devastating pileup — Burnout Legends delivered exactly the adrenaline-fueled, aggressive driving on the PSP that the series made famous on the big consoles. These are not respectful races decided by tenths of a second, but arcade mayhem where speed is everything and crashes are half the fun.

The Burnout series built its identity on a single bold idea: the more recklessly you drive, the better. You barrel down the wrong side of the road, whiz past opponents by a hair, drift through corners, and by doing all that you fill up your boost, which then launches your car to speeds that blur the world. Legends gathers the best of the previous installments and packages it into portable form, so you get proven tracks, cars, and game modes.

Of course, the iconic Crash mode is also here, the pure essence of destruction — you drive a car into a busy intersection and try to cause the biggest chain crash possible, and with it the highest damage. It is a perversely satisfying diversion that turned destruction into a discipline of its own and became one of the hallmarks of the entire series.

On the PSP, the game had to bring this feeling of unbridled speed and destruction to a smaller screen, and it managed to keep the brisk pace and that characteristic tension of driving on the edge, where every mistake ends in a spectacular wreck. Short, intense races and crash challenges also fit playing on the go perfectly.

Burnout Legends is an arcade racer without compromises — no simulation worries, just pure speed, risk, and the joy of a proper collision.

Why play it: Aggressive arcade racing full of speed and destruction, including the cult Crash mode, the ideal dose of adrenaline for your pocket.
