A packed party board game expanded with Jamboree TV and the new console's features.

Super Mario Party Jamboree – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Jamboree TV took an already packed party board game and added a bundle of content that puts the new capabilities of the Switch 2 to use. The core remains classic: players take turns around the board, roll the dice, collect coins and stars, and between rounds a minigame decides who comes out ahead. There are several boards, each with its own rules and shortcuts, plus a huge collection of minigames ranging from pure reflex tests to genuinely tactical challenges where it pays to watch what everyone else is doing.

The new addition is a segment called Jamboree TV, which plays at being a television game show and leans on the console's peripherals. It uses the connected camera, so players appear directly in the game and some contests react to their movements and facial expressions, while another set of tasks relies on the Joy-Con 2's mouse mode and the microphone. The result is a set of disciplines built around drawing, waving, shouting, and cooperating in ways the previous entry never allowed. For playing with several people on one screen it's a welcome breath of fresh air, since the fun comes as much from what happens on the TV as from what happens in the living room.

Technically, this version benefits from higher resolution and smoother performance, shorter loading times between minigames, and a stable online mode offering both casual matches and seasonal challenges with rewards. Visually it's the typically brisk, colorful Nintendo style, and the music is cheerful, poppy, and easy to get stuck in your head. Reception was largely positive, with praise for just how much new content there is and for the camera-based contests being a welcome addition, even if not everyone is thrilled about having a camera next to the console. Today it's a clear pick for family gaming nights and get-togethers, since anyone can grasp the rules within the first round, and a session can be set to last twenty minutes or an entire evening.
