Full Quiet

Full Quiet is an ambitious horror-tinged action adventure for the NES from Retrotainment Games, the creators of the Halloween series. You find yourself in an oppressive, atmospheric landscape and fight your way through forests, caves, and abandoned buildings while gathering resources, crafting gear, and uncovering a grim story. The game blends metroidvania-style exploration with tense combat and a dark visual style that pushes the 8-bit palette beyond what you'd expect from the NES. It was released on a quality cartridge in a wooden box and ranks among the most technically and artistically mature modern NES titles of all.
