An idle clicker about an egg farm that gradually leads all the way to colonizing space with eggs.

Egg, Inc. starts out as an unassuming idle clicker about an egg farm - the player taps the screen to get hens to lay eggs, then invests the earnings into bigger henhouses, faster hens, and upgraded conveyor belts - but it gradually grows into an absurdly large economic system where the farm produces billions of eggs per second and the player carefully plans research, habitat purchases, and prestige resets for the sake of long-term exponential growth in production. Auxbrain also put a light sci-fi humor into the concept: the late stages of the game gradually include drones, delivery rockets, and eventually even the colonization of distant space with eggs, which turns an ordinary clicker into a surprisingly well-thought-out and long-term playable building loop. The game also keeps running in the background, so production continues even while the phone is sitting in a pocket, and upon returning the player just collects the accumulated eggs and decides what to upgrade next.

The game is free-to-play with ads for temporary bonuses and microtransactions for gold that speeds up research and purchases, but thanks to the idle game genre it can also be played comfortably without paying - progress simply runs slower, requiring more patience and regular, even passive, returns to the game throughout the day. Regular community events and competitions between players also give even experienced farmers a reason to come back even after hundreds of hours played.

Why play it: For fans of idle and incremental games who will appreciate the long-term progression and the exaggeration of an egg farm growing all the way to cosmic proportions, even without spending on gold.
