Call of Duty: Black Ops 6

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is a first-person action shooter from Treyarch and Raven Software, continuing the storyline of the Black Ops sub-series. The campaign is set in the mid-90s and follows a team of CIA agents who get caught up in a conspiracy reaching all the way back to Operation Desert Storm. The game emphasizes more action-packed and open missions with room for your own approach compared to previous installments, and also offers cooperative play of the entire campaign for multiple players. Besides single-player, it brings an extensive multiplayer with new and returning maps, a seasonal content system, and a Zombies mode with its own story and set of maps.

The PC version offers the technically highest ceiling of all platforms - unlimited frame rate, support for high resolutions, fully adjustable graphics quality, and advanced image-scaling technologies. The game is available on Battle.net, Steam, and as part of PC Game Pass, and uses the Ricochet anti-cheat system to protect multiplayer matches from cheating.

Content-wise, the PC edition is identical to the console versions - the same campaign with co-op mode, the same multiplayer maps, and the same Zombies. Thanks to cross-play and cross-progression, PC players can play with friends on PlayStation and Xbox and share their progress across platforms.

As with previous installments in the series, Activision places emphasis on the PC version's Ricochet anti-cheat system running at the operating system's kernel level, meant to reduce cheating in multiplayer. Players with a more powerful build can also take advantage of support for advanced image-scaling technologies to achieve a higher frame rate even with ray tracing enabled.

The PC version is also available as part of PC Game Pass from day one, just like on Xbox, so players can access the game without a one-time purchase. In terms of content and gameplay, however, it is exactly the same game as on the other platforms.
