A companion FPS to Modern Warfare 4 with its own campaign adapted for the handheld.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare - Mobilized is a first-person action shooter developed for Nintendo DS by n-Space as a companion title to the big console hit Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. The game offers its own campaign with military missions set in a modern conflict, in which the player moves through linear levels, eliminates enemy units, operates vehicles, and completes objectives typical of the series, such as defending a position or escorting allies under fire.

The controls combined buttons for movement with the touchscreen for aiming, similar to other FPS titles on DS, which proved functional, if not a perfect substitute for the analog controls of the console and PC versions of the series. Graphically, the game worked with simpler but legible 3D environments matching the handheld's performance, while the sound accompaniment and gunfire effects tried to at least partially convey the intensity of the large battle scenes that made the series famous on home consoles.

Modern Warfare - Mobilized was received rather mixed — praised for its effort to bring the Call of Duty brand to Nintendo DS and offer players multiplayer battles over local or wireless connection, while criticism targeted the simplified controls, shorter campaign, and lower technical sophistication compared to the series' main installments released on home consoles and PC. Nevertheless, the game remains an interesting testament to how major shooter brands, in their most successful era, sought their way onto handheld platforms as well, and for collectors and fans of the series it represents a curious, nowadays lesser-known offshoot of Call of Duty worth remembering as part of the brand's broader history.
