Movement is based on teleporting between points in the environment, but unlike ordinary, static teleportation, here the player often jumps or leaps from rooftop to rooftop, creating a sense of dynamic, acrobatic movement rather than mere point-to-point hopping. Combat combines firearms held in both hands with katanas and shurikens, and the game actively rewards an aggressive, fast play style with precise headshots and combinations of dodges and counterattacks.

The environments draw on a futuristic, neon-lit city full of robotic and human opponents, and the level design is built to encourage vertical movement – rooftops, walkways, and high platforms require the player to actively use jumps and parkour abilities.
